DRURY GAME RESCHEDULED

Last Friday's lightning-cancelled game with Drury University has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 21, at COSMO Park in Columbia MO, with kick-off slated for 7 PM. COSMO Park is located at 1615 Bus Loop W, off of Hwy 70.

Both teams agreed to meet in Columbia for the match because it is about halfway between the two schools. Even though the Hawks were leading 1-0 when the 9/10 match was suspended at the 20th minute mark the game has to be completely restarted from the beginning at 0-0 according to NCAA rules.

Because of this rescheduling the Hawks now will play five GLVC games over the next 10days starting at Maryville University on Friday 9/17 at 2:30 PM, then at Missouri S & T (Rolla) on Sunday 9/19 at Noon, then the Drury game on Tuesday 9/21 (as noted above), then they will be in Quincy for Homecoming Weekend when they play Southern Indiana on Friday 9/24 at 7:30 PM, and then host UMSL on Sunday 9/26 at 2:30 PM. Both of these matches will be at North Campus Field. Hopefully a good number of fans will be able to make it some of these top-flight NCAA Division II soccer matches.
